Public Services offers degrees in Emergency Medical Science, Emergency Management, Fire Protection Technology, Criminal Justice Technology, and a certificate in Basic Law Enforcement.
The Catawba Valley Community College School of Health and Public Services provides a comprehensive program that offers associate degrees, certificates, and training in an array of disciplines and occupational interest to the Health and Public Services community. In addition, technical pre-service and in-service advanced training is provided in a number of areas.
Associate degrees available include, Emergency Medical Science, Fire Protection Technology, Criminal Justice, and Criminal Justice-Forensic Science, and Emergency Management.
A diploma is offered for Cosmetology.
Certificates are offered for Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) and in a range of criminal justice themes.
Continuing education and in-service public services instruction is also provided in the areas of emergency medical training, law enforcement, fire, and rescue.
